Warnings: Mentions of war, death, and captivity. Some mild passive suicidal ideation

Warnings: Mentions of blood, vague references to pregnancy

Summary: In spite everything (and that everything is heavy) Aegnor does believe he's doing the right thing. Or at least he hopes he is.
AO3 Link
Author's Note: I adore these two so obviously I was going to write something for Aegnor. This is a sort of companion piece to Saudade (DW link) but they can be read independently.
Warnings: Blood and injury, unconscious/unwitting self-harming behavior, drowning, uncontrolled foresight.

(Or how Hîthwen and Orodreth fell in love and came to be married, told in snippets)

Author's note: What's this? I've written something that is not depressing or horrifying? No but seriously, this is the lightest, fluffiest thing I've ever written so far. (I meant it then and I mean it now I've got like maybe three non tragic/sad fics I've written total, maybe five if we allow for some sadness with an eventual happy ending/happiness so long as you don't look at the canon timeline. And this is still the fluffiest)
Summary: It is a strange pattern to be trapped in. Never formally named anything or invited anywhere that matters, but still wanted and expected, always heard but never truly listened to.

Author's note: I just think that Aegnor and Andreth definitely met through the years in between their sort of break up and his death, and it kills me to think about how frustrating and painful that must have been.
Summary: Írissë has always been stubborn. But she doesn't think she's being unreasonable.

Author's note: While I do think Mandos as a place of healing is a good idea in principle, there are inherent problems to it. Add to that the fact that the Ainur don't really understand the elves, and Tolkien's world building around marriage? Yeah, there's going to be issues.(Look I've got opinions about stuff regarding this)
Warnings: There are some references to childbirth and some mentions of societal pressure to have children.

Relationships: Indis/Finwë, Indis/Míriel (Implied)

Author's Note: I still really love this one, I might actually expand on it someday. (Also, highly recommend clicking through on the tumblr link for this one, because a wonderful artist did some fantastic art there and I'm still not sure what the etiquette is on intersite reccing). Also

Author's note: Inspired by that line in The Lay of Beleriand about older gods that live in Nan Dungortheb (or Nan Dungorthim at the time). A little additional thing to note is that there are elements of absurdist fiction in here so it does get a little weird.
Author's note: This is the one that actually got me to start posting on AO3 because it got a bit too long for me to force people to read it on their dash. Also I spent so long looking at horse anatomy diagrams.
